One of the most meaningful methods for mechanical condition diagnostic is the vibration analysis. Various errors can be diagnosed on the basis of specific frequency patterns in the vibrational spectrum, even before the facility through a damage comes from. We therefore routinely perform vibration analysis on rotating machines such as electric motors, gears, pumps, compressors, fans, and rollers. This can be detected under include the following conditions:

  • Imbalance
  • Bent or crooked shaft
  • Resonances
  • Misalignment
  • Blade passing frequencies on fans and pumps
  • Cavitation (pumps)
  • Dental surgery (tooth problems)
  • Bearing damage
  • Insufficient lubrication
  • Electrical problems

In addition, we perform also modal analysis to verify the structure of the components and mechanical constructions on resonances. We analyze foundations, structures, building parts, stage, and much more.

Furthermore, we are specialists in vibration-based damage analysis: when a damage, we want to not only know what is “broken”. We want to identify the underlying the damage cause and resolve to avoid all future losses and to increase the productivity and reliability of the system. For this, the root cause analysis is the drug of choice.

Root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement process (CIP)

The RCA is a systematic approach used to determine the underlying cause of a problem. Goal is to fix not only the superficial damage, but to identify the source of the error and eliminate. This is the damage as accurately as possible by integrating described by vibration analysis, repair findings and plant history and systematically narrowed the source of the error. This extensive research and thorough analysis allows to determine the actual cause of the failure. Based on the RCA, a detailed report of the findings is created, which also includes a recommendation for the CIP. The CIP is eliminated on a clear, understandable improvement in conditioning, the errors and failures.
