Peristaltic pump<\/h3>\n

The basic principle of the peristaltic pump is based on the human “peristalsis”, a process that involves the alternating contraction and relaxation of muscles around a tube in order to push the contents further.
An elastic hose is compressed lengthwise by rollers on a rotor, which pushes the contents further. The hose opens again behind the rollers. The resulting negative pressure continuously draws liquid into the hose. This results in a gentle pumping process that does not damage the product. Contamination of the environment is avoided because the liquid is safely contained in the hose. There is only one component in contact with the medium, the hose.
The fluid is conveyed evenly at a constant rate per revolution, ensuring very precise delivery.<\/p>\n

– No additional lubricating fluid is required in the pump housing because there is no friction on the hose surface, which increases the service life of the hose.
– Food can be conveyed without the risk of contamination because the housing is lubricant-free.
– The absence of lubricating fluid makes it easy and inexpensive to change the hose without having to drain, dispose of and replace the lubricating fluid<\/p>\n
