Immersion pump<\/h3>\n

Properties<\/h2>\n

The pump body is immersed in the liquid but the motor is mounted dry above the mounting plate outside the corrosive area, as are the oversized bearings, which are not in direct contact with the liquid or gas vapors.
\nDue to this design, the pump can run dry without the risk of damage, allowing reliable operation at reduced cost.
\nThe ability to customize the shape and dimensions of the mounting plate, the position of the discharge flange and the length of the guide tube allows designers and end users to adapt to existing sump\/tank plates or flanges.
\nIf desired, a suction strainer, suction extension and PTFE lip seal can be installed for a vapor-tight design.
\nCantilever pumps are used for sludge, slurry and liquids containing large and\/or long-fibered solids, such as groundwater development, dewatering sumps or paper pulp, as well as other applications (see below). <\/p>\n
