In the Electrical Mechanical Engineering degree program, you will learn the basics you need to get started as an engineer in production and maintenance. At the beginning, you will gain an insight into mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. You will then deepen your knowledge in the design of production systems and control technology.

We attach great importance to training that develops both theoretical and practical skills!

A generous training allowance gives you financial independence right from the start.

Admission requirements of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences


  • Advanced technical college entrance qualification (academic and practical part)
  • General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)
  • University entrance qualification obtained abroad
  • Other previous education recognized as equivalent
  • Enrollment requirements: Training contract
  • Proof of training contract: September 30


Applications for a training place are usually submitted one year before the start of the course.

The application for a study place must also be submitted to the university online!
