How does that work? During the 3.5-year apprenticeship, you will learn how electrical machines and drive systems are put into operation. As a prospective electronics technician for machines and drive technology, you will manufacture windings and assemble electrical machines and drive systems. you recognize faults and also learn how to rectify them. In short: thanks to you, it’s working!

3.5 years


Journeyman’s examination (HWK)

The main components of the training include


  • Mechanical work such as filing, milling, turning and winding
  • Electrical measurements, testing and analysis of motors and systems
  • Installing and connecting electrical equipment
  • Manufacture of motor windings
  • Repair and overhaul of motors, generators and similar units
  • Assembly and disassembly of electrical machines
  • Maintenance of drive systems
  • Technical order analysis, solution development

  • Successful graduation
  • Good grades in STEM subjects will help you
